Dr. Lillie has received extensive training at the prestigious Illinois Eye Institute’s Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic in Chicago, and he believes that there is no greater frustration than knowing a child will not meet their full potential simply because a comprehensive eye examination was not performed.
The American Optometric Association recommends a childs first comprehensive examination take place between 6-12 months. As a result, Dr. Lillie is a proud InfantSEE provider and offers FREE comprehensive eye exams to children under 1 year of age!
Additionally, Dr. Lillie recommends children of all ages have annual comprehensive eye examinations to make sure the eyes are not only seeing properly, but also ensure that the eyes are working as a team, and functioning at their maximum ability. If any of these are not working at their optimal capacity, the child may have difficulty with all aspects of learning which can affect confidence and comprehension leading to behavioral problems. Each school age examination comes with an extensive report to evaluate all aspects of the student’s vision.
